MASRY!!!

My questions has just been answered. I asked my friends a few weeks ago that do they like their current President, Hosni Mobarak. With proud and dignity they unhesitantly replied, "Hell no!". So I started to get curious and asked most of my class the same question. The answer was the same. Then I asked a more clear-headed, smart person who can give the term correctly. He said he that was the cause of the downfall in Egypt, ruling for about 3 decades.

Tahrir Sq.

My friend told me that there was gonna be a demonstration that day. So I thought it was gonna be like a presentation or something. Surprisingly, I was hoping for it, you know I always look at the positive side rather than the negative and hoping it was a 'Happy' demonstration.

I can't recall the first day they demonstrated. Though, the number increased each day, by that I mean the protesters. I think about 50,000 protesters were in Cairo. The whole country is in chaos. A few weeks ago, a Church blew up. Which intertwined the brotherhood of Egyptian Muslims and Christians. The protesters said that they're united, whatever the religion  is, they're together to have Hosni Mobarak step down as the President of Egypt which his President career spans for over 3 decades.

That's not the reason I'm pissed off. No, the communications are cut except the landlines connection. Internet and mobile phone connection are cut. Urggghhhh!!! Hosni Mobarak cut off almost everything the protesters need to interact with each other.

The opposition leader is Mohamed El-Baradai. he doesn't go out to the field. He gives encouragement to the protesters and also stated that the demonstration that have begun won't stop until Hosni Mobarak step down. Which will never happen until he dies, Egyptians are arrogant. All of the police have been redeployed except the one is Tahrir Sq. It's been replaced by the army, tougher. Oh yea, Mubarak also appointed to new Vice President and Prime Minister. Think this is gonna work? me neither. The recent news says that he'll be the President till September.

I saw on the news that Mubarak met US President, Barack Obama. They talked and Obama gave a speech saying  Mobarak promise to protect Egypt and will be more financially secure. The opposition leader also stated something really obvious and logical, "Egypt need to catch up with the other countries, we are way behind". It just penetrated my mind. The statement is just the bitter truth. The protesters also brought along their children saying that there's a better future for them. We saw the air force planes swifting through the sky. The plane was so low that we can even see the cockpit. I guess it's just something to scare the protesters eh?

Police disguised as normal citizens and arresting the protesters
My whole family moved to the embassy so the evacuation will be quick. My dad already got permission from Malaysia that he can return to Malaysia. You know....this and that...it's not confirmed. We may not even go back. Meh, now that the internet is back, I'm posting this. For those who are in Malaysia that are worried about us, watch the video below. Oh yea, Husni, give back my damn flash drive!

Get better mate!

Moustache of Destiny!
Abg Mahdi. Just to start with, his ancestors was Arabs and migrated to Malaysia. I still need to do some reasearch....hmm...and he has to marry a woman named 'Sharifah' so the traditions of his family would go on. I'm kinda vague about his heritage. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Nevertheless, a few days ago, he's been diagnosed with Hepatitis A. He's also been quarantined for a week in a lonely hospital. It's really lonely. It started with a fever, headache...these kind of symptoms. A few days ago, my father joined a club that was created by Husni's dad, a family club. So yesterday, the families that joined the club, went to IBC...yes..the bowling centre. My right hand is still cramping. To get to the point, my whole family went to the hospital but only me and my dad visited him. Luckily, when I was in a primary school, erm....for every 6 months, ambulance came with the nurses. For the flu vaccines and more. I hated it. The feeling when the needle penetrated down your skin, It's terrifying then not now =D. I don't hate nurses, I hate dentists. Arghh, I still remember the moment when the doctor said that he was gonna rinse my mouth with his equipment. Instead, he pulled out my tooth. I wasn't ready for that. Up to this day, I hate dentists.

Back to the hospital, I'll upload a few pictures then I'll continue the story after.

Aiseyyhh...I got a few more pictures, but with this crappy internet connection of mine, the uploading cannot be done.
I wanna talk about the hospital first. We gotta pay an entrance fee to visit the patients. L.E 1 per person. It's suppose to be free. No charge at all. I think the money won't go to the charity or make the facilities in the hospital better. It's his 'Shai' money, meaning tea. We went there while the sky was black. Like I said, really lonely. If were to be quarantined in this hospital, I'd suffer from loneliness more than the disease that I've been diagonosed with.

Abg Mahdi is still in a very weak state. He takes out the blood on his own. The nurses there failed to put the needle properly and missed the blood vessel and the part became swollen. He got a long needle inside his right hand. Making him unable to move the arm properly. The needle is in the flesh. Aaaa. Zaki was there, the cleaner's husband who comes for about 3 times a week. He helps Mahdi if he wants to go to the toilet...stuffs like that. He has NO APPETITE. Even the nurses threw away the food right away. One of his friend was there too.

Anyway, that's it for now. Hope you get better. FIGHTING!

Just another day in Ramadhan

So, the other day before yesterday, my dad told me that there is a bazaar opened in Asyir and that got my hopes up. Skiping to the part that there were only 3-4 stalls there. isk3..
I'm always amazed by this type of fiery cooking. That guy there was cooking Char Kuey Tiaw..regardless of how you spell it, I'd like to try it someday and i doubt that my mum would allow that. Speaking of food, ever got the wth look by foreigners when you're eating a Malaysian food? I have. Most of Malaysian food has some kind of kuah or sambal and we usually eat with our hands. Aiseyhhh..i think you got the idea la en. I sometimes also bring some kuih-muih to school and wth, they judge by the look and when I said try it, they'll reply, "oooo...nice food you brought there Hilmi". Talking 'bout Malaysian food reminds me of my Somali friend but he live in the US. The whole class always ask, "Oi, you're a refugee? c'mon! you've got the blood of a warrior! Admit it...-_-". That got him pissed. Anyway, the thing I like about thim is that, he loves Malaysian food. erm...frankly speaking, if I brought an unknown food he's the first one to ask what's that. Moral is that, don't be embarassed to be a Malaysian. wahahaa...

Yesterday, like every year, I dunno exactly coz my purpose of coming to that party was to enjoy eating but it was in an Egyptian restaurant with a Nile view.

An old stationary vehicle park right inside the restaurant
I take pictures the way I like it. Don't critize please.

The 'View'
Enjoying that 'View'

I'll continue the inside part later and enjoy the excitement of these young lads
Wooooo
Such a rare and awkward see-saw
I think that's quite enough. Now straight to the inside view followed by the Nile view.

Guess that's it for the pictures. Since Muaz had just finished his exam and got his result, he talk about this kinda stuff la en about going to matrix. He and his sis chose medic, Husni chose...engineering right? Me? I still dunno what to choose. Maybe eventually I'll choose something. Anyway, my target this year is to complete my hw. You see, I'm not much of a hw kinda guy. Just like any other lazy kid, I'll copy from someone else or do it quickly during other periods. I hope this helps, coz I really wanna get better grades this year. Anyway....Tata...!

Exam!!

No post will be added in the upcoming 3 weeks. Sorry. :(

Bye Zainuddins...

Ok..I take back my word. I got to take their pictures individually. I can't get the whole family photo because all of them were busy. Here is the picture that I edited.

Although it's simple, but it's amazing yea? Anyway, all I'm asking from you all is that don't forget me and try to read my blog every week. hehehehe..gonna miss you all. All of the hardships and dissing was fun but now it has come to an end. I really hope we'll meet again and I'm not going to waste the opportunity if I it's still in the grasp of my hand.

TATA!

Once Upon A Time : A Disrespectful Stomach

This wacky incident happened in Carrefour, Egypt. And it's not in the middle of a desert. Wokeh! Since we didn't eat breakfast, we went to a fast food restaurant. Skipping the procedure; buying the meal...washing your hand...etc. We eat and eat and eat and suddenly my father said that the chicken taste different than the one in Zamalek. I kinda agree though. A conversation began..no..a speech began. Actually the whole speech thing is about trying to convince me not to eat at a fast food restaurant frequently. So..What The Heck! This is what he said, "Did you know that the chicken here is imported from either U.A.E or Brazil??(ok..Emirate is a Muslim country..so it's all good. And i gave him the what-the-heck-brazil face)." He brought his assistant actually and his the one who explained it to me. It went like this, "In Brazil, 4 chickens are put together. The area is about 60cm2. Yeah..they can't move at all! Except for eating. The chicken was injected and filled up with a lot of hormones. They get fat in about 2 or 3 weeks. They have no fur at all and the rooster has no(pointing at my hair). My dad continued, "So it's really not good to eat at fast food restaurant frequently". Then I bought a food costing L.E 8. It's like a tortilla filled with mozzarella cheese. I wanted to go to the mall. The moment I took my first step inside a female guard scolded me, "Ya Ustazzz..Di Mamnu''" and I was like, "Meshi". ZZZZZZZZZZZ..My mom is inside and my dad...ok..i don't know where he was currently at that time. I was roaming around the whole shopping center and look like a freaking retard. I didn't carry a bag. So I put the food inside my pocket and yeah..people got this curious look on me and wondering that what the heck is wrong with his bone? I went to that place again. Now looking like a spy. Yippi!!they didn't notice me!. Now..where is my mum! It took me 15 minutes to find her! zzzzzzzzzz..I finally put my food in her bag. Wohooo. While I was looking for a Hair Wax, Afham nudged me. He said, "Long...(it was in Malay of course) Abeer is here. (someone is blushing..if he is reading this..).". I was like that was a total lie but it wasn't. She was there. What a coincidence. I was going to say hi to her and say, "Abeer..Muaz came with me also. Yea..He's in the grocery section". But of course, I have a gentle and kind heart so I let him off the hook. But suddenly, a pain, uncomfortable feeling came upon me. I just need to go to the toilet. Oh Allah..is this the punishment you're giving me for the bad thoughts about Muaz??Why??. Arghh..forget it. So I went to the toilet. Shittt!!! I never like doing my business in a public bathroom. and this was not just about peeing...yea..the other stuff as well. Shit...no need to talk about that in this post. Thank God that was at least in Carrefour and not at the gas station's toilet in Egypt. For most of you who have never experienced this, it's quite a torture. URGGHHH!!

Hide your face...

The story goes like this. We were doing a Nasyid song called "Cahaya Selawat"for Maulidurr Rasul. Which we rehearsed for about 3 times only....how awkward was that. My mom told me that there were other choir than us. So when we arrived at the Duta's house, it was ok as usual. Oh yea..Our group name was Anak-Anak pisc...wkakakak...we didn't think of that name ourselves and the other was Anak-Anak Madinat Nasr. I was like..wow. Even the name terrify me. But we kept our coolness and begins the action.

Yup. That's my crew for sure. The truth is WE SUCK! yea...I'll show you the next group. Which is amazing-WOW-Devastating group. Our asses got whooped by them. Wakakak. There is another dude playing the "what do u called it" behind the ladies. And the boy sitting on the chair is incredible.Isk* Never going to this again. What a shame. Memories..you just have to live by it. Without it, u got no history dude.
