Summer Holiday!

I fnished my exams 6 days ago.

About a month or two prior to the exams, the teachers told us that it's an uncheatable environment but I'd beg to differ. We did the exams in a hotel ; excellent condition for doing exams. It was in a room, a huge room. I'd say about 15 rows and about 12 columns of desks in the room. 10 - 15 invigilators. No cameras. Well there's this overhead sprinklers in case of emergency but NO CAMERAS. The examinations that I was doing was not that crucial or important, I'd say quite...important but not fully. If the student in front of you tilt to the left or right, you can see his/her paper.

The above paragraph is totally based on common sense and since common sense differs between countries or culture, your common sense might not be my common sense. *cough* Let's move on....

For some reasons, I feel like I wanna talk about the job as an invigilator. It's boring. Booriing. Giving out papers, taking back the papers, observing the students ooh...noo..invigilating the students. It's perpetual boredom. Nice environment to work in though. I don't know if invigilating is a part time job or their real job is in the British Council or something related to it. Meh...who am I to judge?

So right now I'm just downloading movies, comedies only. Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Ben Stiller, David Spade oh yeah...let's not forget Jim Carrey. Their works are awesome. Well there are more of the comedic actors/actresses. Critics around the world might say their movies sucks but for those who wants a good laugh, it's perfect.

I'm currently learning this song. I genuinely didn't know that zorro can sing. Hahaha. Anyway, have an awesome summer holiday, for those who celebrate it. No offense to those who don't.

AGAZA INIHARDA!!!

To begin, Agaza means holiday and Iniharda means today. It's Egyptian Arabic. No-one, I repeat no-one speaks the Old Arabic or Fushah if you wanna call it. The Fushah Arabic is only for writing. It's a pain in the neck whenever I go to Malaysia and someone speaks to me in Old arabic. I forgot even how to reply. I'm in an Egyptian school so that I can improve my Colloquial (local) Arabic. The best way to learn Arabic is to be friends with a native speaker. Even in Saudi Arabia, the Arabic is different.

Back to my main point, I finally have holidays. YEHAHAHAHA. Although, the real holidays doesn't start until the last week of Jan and the first week of Feb. They close the school because all of them are having mid-terms. From the 20th onwards they have Arabic, Social Studies and Religion exams. A big exam I may say. SO they're focusing on acing these. While me, I'm not taking those 3, I'm free for this whole month. I now feel a bit superior. Just kidding mate. Still, I gotta workout the upper system.

The video below is quite awesome, so SMILE!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

YEHAHAHA. Going to be 15 this year which mean I've to take PMR if I hadn't move here. That's probably going to be one of the most crucial exam. So my friends in Malaysia have to face the exam. Speaking about Malaysia, MALAYSIA WON THE 2010 SUZUKI CUP!!! YEAH! with the aggregate 4-2 against Indonesia. I have Indonesians friends so  I think they're pretty pissed. To be frank, that was the first...no..second, the first match that I saw Malaysia played was with 'Myteam'. So it was the second match, big deal. I'm not very patriotic of our National football team. Even with this damn slow internet connection of mine, I still managed to watch the game. After a few days, the match between 'Ahly' and 'Zamalek'. So the day before the game, a lot...and when I say a lot..it's a lot. They asked me are you 'Ahlawy' or 'Zamalkawy' so I said neither. I don't tend to watch Egyptian leagues. For you that might get offended, please close this tab, this is my blog and I can do whatever the hell I want. Seriously, don't get offended.

You know what, this blog of mine is 1 year old!!!! Sanah helwa ya gamii, sanah helawa ya gami, sanah helwa sanah helwa, sanah helwa ya gamii!! YEAYYY!! Give or take, I've written about 60 post. That, from my opinion is a good amount writing for a blogger newbie. I'll be writing more in the future. =D
Take out the 'liv' in the picture beside and replace it with 'Hilmi's blog'. I took it off a blog. This is NOT MY OWN PICTURE. I don't wanna get sued. Enough of this plagiarism stuff.

So today I had a Chemistry exam, a mock to be exact. I'm really pleased with the difficulties of the exam. I like that kind of exam which is slightly hard. My time spent on studying was worth it. Not that kinda exam last year from whom I'm not going to say. It was freaking easy. My time spent studying that was wasted. zzzzz...my brother and sisters are having holidays while my school is still on. Damn I'm jealous.

Anyway, may this year be better than the previous one. That's my resolution for this year. Happy New Year people!

Monthly Test

It's been more than one week since the test had finished. My bad. You know I got a D in German. D is more like a B in Core and the highest grade in Core is C which is 90 above or was it 80 above or maybe 70 above? Nonetheless, 70% of O level is core. Anyway, I just got back from Sinai. Will be posting that on another post and let me trash talk in this post.

You know what I hate the most about that school? The teacher? Noo...The people? Noo...it's coz I can't laugh. The 'Science' teachers explains in Arabic and I'm able to interpret that quite well with my procasnitated brain but when they make a joke, I don't understand and people kept laughing. Now that's sad. Teachers must be funny. Yup. According to my book it is. If the subject itself is a boring one, a joke would have some kind of turning effect but anyhu, I'm fine, totally.

My English teacher. Hahaha..wait...let me catch my breath. He always stick to the English side of his. Anything American will create a disgust look on his face. I'll point out a few. " "Mom"? Is that how you spell "Mum"? That's bloody American. "Mum" is the bloody English". I don't think anyone except me laughed at that. He's not white. Really. I think he's from Egypt but migrated to the UK and his accent is thick enough to get me laughing. Another one, " What do you call it. You go to her house and sleep. Whaaat? Sleepover yeah? Pyjama Party...bla bla bla...very American". LMAO. Again, I don't think anyone laughed except me. What do you expect? He's the only source of humour in that school.

They changed the Math teacher for my class. I think that decision was acceptable and better. I don't know, I got 90/100 in Math which is a C. The previous one gave L.E 50 to those who got the full mark which is 2 people and that wasn't the reason for replacing a new one. I think it's because of the mark. I don't bother asking why.

Happy Ramadhan

If I think about it, this year pass by quickly; I don't know why but that's a good thing. Anyway I'd like to congratulate y'all to a happy fasting. My dad got me a Moroccan jubah/ headdress whatever la en...and I'll be wearing it to the small Masjid. In my area, there are only 2 Masjid, I named them big and small. I'll be praying Tarawih at the small one coz the Tarawih is shorter :P. Anyway, my friend gave me some tips to endure it. But I won't use it =D. So short ma this post. So hope you all enjoy this blessed month.

PEACE!

Annual Day!

First of all, I'm sorry for the delay. I had been rehearsing for quite a while because I participated in the Annual Day. So we practiced and practiced and practiced. The day before the Annual Day, we, participants went to the Hall (where the place is) to get the actual feeling of it you know. Actually the rehearsal was shit. My Chem teacher came along. Wallahi, Me and my buddy was about to sit down right in the middle then she freaking yelled at us that we have to sit at the back.zzzzzzzzz. This is my blog yea? So I will reveal you a secret. My Chem teacher smokes and she is a freaking dentist. Although I have never seen she's smoking but the odour around her was all I need to know. Shhhh...secret, actually blow it up, I don't care (LOL!).The group to rehearsed first was the group directed by Mrs. Hend (I'm with Memma). When it was our turn, all of the teachers came to inside including the Principal. Aiseeyyhh. The Principal asked Mr. Mo'men what's the duration of the music part and this making-sure-everything-is-perfect stuffs. You know what, he asked me again to cut my hair and it was still short lew....

1, 2, 3 Fa Sol. We started our thing. There wasn't really an audience, just the teachers and when the Principal makes the sign kinda like, "Yalla, Clap!" and most of the teachers started to clap immediately. I was giggling like hell. This happen to children all the time when there is a 'boss' in the group of children. Then there is a fight (I always get enthusiastic when there is EGYPTIAN FIGHTS). The manager of the hall was pretty mad because those midgets eats and drinks in the hall and leave the rubbish there. It's different, I can't really describe the situations but they talked at first but when one started throwing fist to the other, better run away and DON'T TAKE PICTURES! coz the Egyptians Officers will enter and take the fighters for interrogation (etc.) and the one who takes pictures will also be taken to the HQ. My teacher had experienced this (Azhar student). He got beat to a pulp...nah I'm just kidding. You cannot find this in Malaysia Lol. It's true, but here go to a shop or any other places in the streets and watch what's happening around you. SICK!! Must watch. It somehow goes like this, Ya 3am, 3eeb wallahi and when it gets to the swearing part, it gets even better.
My bro is baddd...in taking photos...From left : Emad, Emad's driver and me!Imam, whom I made friend with. He kissed me as a sign of welcome. It's a tradition dude, don't think it the wrong way. If I were an Egyptian, I was suppose to kiss him back but I'm not used to this kind of thing. haha..This is totally normal also la..haha..

Now let's go back to the real deal.Don't remember why I was making the face..LOLZ..My music teacher, Mr. Mo'men A.K.A MemmaA preview of the stage. They were rehearsingHad to sit down coz of the teachers.Backstage...Sorry for the pic. My sis getting ready for her danceMr. Mo'men and his crew. This picture was taken right before the curtain was raised.Another picture taken 20 seconds before the curtain was raised.

We made many mistakes. awww...haha..no one noticed. Then more act which I cannot snap a photo coz they're not letting me to take one. zzzzz. Then the prize distribution and the National Anthem of Pakistan and Egypt and PAKISTAN INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL CAIRO HAD OFFICIALLY ENDED.Abdullah (left) is leaving. Guess where is he going to? MALAYSIA BEBEH! TRULY ASIA!
